About Raylu

Our Goal

At Raylu, we are automating private market investing workflows with sophisticated LLM technology. Our first beachhead focus is on sourcing - the process in which funds find interesting companies to invest in. Our product is a combination of A) mass scale agentic search (1000x more depth than OpenAI) B) AI-first workflow tooling helping investor get from start to finish in sourcing with ease in one integrated tool. Our pitch to investors:

Raylu makes building investment summaries and memos easy with generative AI. Built by an ex-Insight Partners AI investor, Raylu is purpose built to make top-of-funnel deal processing fast and effective so funds don't miss hidden gems and move faster to be in pole position on the deals that matter. Raylu is a highly-customizable platform designed to easily learn to think about deal data the same way your firm does.

What it’s like working at Raylu

We are a small team of 7 all based out of NYC working out of our office in midtown manhattan everyday.
Everyday we tackle new unsolved challenges (e.g. how the heck do you we make this LLM released yesterday solve our problem? how can we innovate on chat UX?)
We work hard. We don’t believe in hustle culture, toxic workplaces, and sacrificing balance, but startups are really hard - so we put in the time and effort needed to succeed. Our typical work week is M-F 9-8, and on occasion when a big sprint is happening later or weekends.
We have fun. We have a happy hour at least once a week, we always eat lunch together (paid for by company), we have super smash leaderboard, and there’s 2 dogs in the office most days.
We are courageous yet humble with our work. Everyday we sprint into unknown territory courageously building what we think is the thing everyone wants, but we have the humility to hear feedback, fail gracefully, and rebuild quickly.
